The Black Dog of Depression has descended over the adults of Dublin, causing widespread despair. Siblings Raymond and Gloria, motivated by the impact on their family and community, embark on a quest to stop the Black Dog. Their journey through Dublin's streets, parks, and beaches inspires other children to join them. Together, they discover that their weapon against the Black Dog is the word 'brilliant.'
