Crocs

In Crocs, the third book in the Sharks Incorporated series by Randy Wayne White, the brave trio Luke, Maribel, and Sabina venture to Sanibel Island's Bone Field in search of a rare orange tree. Tasked by marine biologist Doc Ford, they encounter unique oranges but not the specific tree needed. The area is guarded by a massive saltwater crocodile and a reclusive woman who warns them against trespassing, revealing her struggles with the ghost of King Calusa. As they delve deeper, they uncover illegal reptile dealings by the woman's neighbor, who also holds the key to the missing gold medallion of King Calusa.
