From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler

Two siblings, Claudia and Jamie, run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to teach their parents a lesson in appreciation. During their stay, they discover a mysterious angel statue and become determined to uncover its origins. Their investigation leads them to form a special bond with Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, a wealthy, eccentric widow who holds the key to the statue's history. The adventure not only brings them closer to the truth but also to each other and ultimately helps Claudia find a way to go home.
