Connor Sullivan, an All-Star shortstop on his Babe Ruth team, the Orioles, struggles with his temper on the field. His outbursts are causing his teammates to avoid him and his coach to consider kicking him off the team. Off the field, his family is facing financial difficulties after his dad loses his job, making Connor's dream of attending a prestigious baseball camp seem out of reach. When a sports editor threatens to expose his tantrums, Connor is forced to confront his behavior and change his ways to regain his teammates' trust and lead his team to victory.
