Judy Moody

This book tells the story of Judy Moody, a spunky third-grader famous for her moods. Judy starts the third grade in a bad mood, but her mood changes when she is assigned to make a 'Me' collage for school. With an abundance of individuality and attitude, Judy navigates her new classroom, which lacks an armadillo sticker with her name and a porcupine named Roger, and tries to pass notes to her best friend, Rocky. An aspiring doctor, Judy practices on her little brother, owns a cool new pet, and maintains a huge Band-Aid collection. The story highlights Judy's journey of self-expression through a special class project, combining Megan McDonald's spirited text and Peter Reynolds's wry illustrations.
