Moon Bear

Twelve-year-old Tam ventures into a moon bear den in Northern Laos to steal a cub and make a fortune, but the plan fails when the mother bear returns. After his village relocates for a new highway and his father is killed by a landmine, Tam becomes the breadwinner and is forced to work at a moon bear farm in the city, where bears are cruelly treated for their bile.
