Another children's book featured is about a warm and loving grandmother who prepares traditional remedies for her granddaughter to treat ailments and fears. The book is enriched with vibrant illustrations by Edna San Miguel and includes informational content on native medicinal plants prepared by ethnobotanist Ana Lilia Reina. The book was a finalist in the 2002 Foreword Magazine's Book of the Year Award and won the 2nd Place in the Royal Dragonfly Book Award in 2010.
