Pavi Sharma's Guide to Going Home

Twelve-year-old Pavi Sharma is an expert at navigating the foster care system, using her Front Door Face to ease foster parents' apprehensions. After enduring multiple foster homes and shelters, Pavi now has a stable foster family and has started a 'business' teaching other foster kids her survival skills. However, when she meets Meridee, a new five-year-old foster kid about to be placed in a dreadful home Pavi once lived in, she knows it's up to her to intervene. With the help of her foster brother Hamilton, a brooding eighth grader named Santos, and Hamilton's friend Piper, they embark on a mission to save Meridee from a haunting past.
