Rescue at Lake Wild

In this funny and moving animals-in-peril adventure, a twelve-year-old girl named Madison 'Madi' Lewis and her two best friends, Aaron and Jack, rescue two orphaned beaver kits whose mother was killed. Despite being banned from bringing more animals home by her parents, Madi finds herself in the middle of a local conspiracy that threatens the beavers and their habitats. As they work to uncover the threat, Madi uses her animal whisperer skills to care for the beavers and navigate the environmental crisis, all while trying to stay out of trouble in order to meet her hero, Jane Goodall, at an upcoming gala event.
