River of Fire

River of Fire

Description

In the midst of great turmoil in the forest, a group of young cats set out on a journey in search of a new home. They face numerous challenges and encounter strange new creatures, but their unity and friendship help them overcome these obstacles. 'Sorceress’s Spell', the first book of the trilogy entitled 'The Incredible Adventures of Kitto' follows ten year-old Kitto as he brings upon himself the wrath of the wicked Milady. Escaping Milady’s powers on a flying dragon and aided by Fairy Sambhava, Kitto creates four magical toys: Vinnie, a happy-go-lucky clown; Clementina, a beautiful marionette and dancer; Froggy-the-Wisest, who possesses universal wisdom; and Lullaby-the-Cat, a charming, lazy, talented storyteller. These toys become Kitto’s best friends. In 'The Toynapers', the second book, despite an attack by the Toynapers and the risk of capture, Kitto brings his toys to The Greatest Toy Show on Earth. Princess Daisy admires the toys and asks her father to make Kitto a Royal Toy Master. Although the King agrees, Kitto’s luck changes when he is falsely accused of a crime by Milady's orders and imprisoned. Despite Princess Daisy’s attempts, she cannot save Kitto. 'River of Fire', the third book, begins with Kitto, now blind, escaping with the help of his flying dragon. Aided again by Fairy Sambhava, Kitto and his magical toys travel to the enchanted River of Fire, overcoming great dangers, and finally reaching the Pearl Palace of the Terrible Wizard to obtain the most precious treasure known to man. The series emphasizes that 'Every child is born to succeed'.
