Rockie Stoneshaker and the Haunted Castle

Soon-to-be fourteen year-old Rockie Stoneshaker is set to spend her summer in England at a family castle she just inherited with her parents. Initially worried about missing a summer job opportunity, Rockie is reassured by her editor that her job will be held if she writes a good story about the castle. During her stay, Rockie uncovers a forgery scheme by phony relatives in the castle cellar, befriends a ghost with unfinished business named Gwendolyn, and helps solve the mystery of Gwendolyn's murder. Amidst these adventures, Rockie's parents work on converting the first floor of the castle into a restaurant, unaware of the mysterious activities elsewhere. The truth comes to light on the restaurant's opening night, providing Rockie with a story far richer than she expected. The print version of this book is no longer available but the story is being rewritten as an eBook with the same title and should be available on Amazon.com before the end of 2013.
