Scowl the owl is known for being grumpy all the time. One day, a small bird offers him her happy hat to wear in hopes of cheering him up. Scowl rudely dismisses the bird and tells her to 'Get lost!'. However, when Scowl accidentally ruins the hat, he is not the only one who becomes grumpy. As a result, Scowl starts to experience a strange, unfamiliar feeling.
