This is the story of José M. Hernández, a child of migrant farmers who dreamed of becoming an astronaut. Hernández became an electrical engineer, married, and started a family, but never gave up on his dream. After numerous rejections, he was finally accepted into NASA's astronaut program and flew to the International Space Station on the Space Shuttle Discovery.
