The Clue of the Tapping Heels

Nancy Drew uses her detective skills to solve a mystery involving tapping heels in a neighbor's attic, discovering a network of thieves using a tapping code to communicate. In addition to contending with the dishonest administrator of a will and a thief who steals Persian cats, Nancy faces challenging questions about the mysterious tapper and their sinister motives. Nancy communicates with the intruder by tap dancing in code, outwits three criminals wanted by the police, and ultimately brings happiness to a retired actress through a romantic reunion.
