The Cool Code

In this funny and heartfelt slice-of-life graphic novel, coding whiz Zoey goes from being homeschooled to a new school and develops an app called Cool Code to help her make friends. The app, featuring a cute llama avatar, uses pop culture algorithms to advise Zoey on everything from conversations to attire. However, when the app provides ludicrous suggestions, it leads to both awkward and hilarious situations. With improvements and help from the coding club, the app becomes successful, and Zoey becomes very popular, but it also pulls her away from her real friends and presents her with life's complicated choices.
