The Deserted Library Mystery

The Alden children find an old library full of mystery during their summer vacation. Unraveling what happened to the library and the people around it becomes a grand adventure. The Aldens help restore the library by cleaning up and clearing out old books. But while they work, they hear mysterious footsteps on the second floor. Then someone sneaks in and makes the library just as messy as before. Why would someone want the library to stay closed? At an old library, the Alden children discover a boy who needs their help and a stranger who is after a valuable object they found in the library.
