The Girl Savage

Wilhelmina Silver, known as Will, has an idyllic life on an African farm with her horse, monkey, and best friend. However, her world is upended when her father passes away, the farm is sold, and she's sent to a strict boarding school in England. Unaccustomed to the harsh social dynamics of the school, Will struggles to adapt. Amidst indifferent classmates and strict rules, she feels crushed and eventually escapes into the streets and zoos of London. There, she meets a kind, sincere boy and his grandmother who take her in. They ultimately encourage Will to face her challenges and return to school, teaching her to confront life head-on with bravery and resolve.
