The Inquisitor's Mark: The Eighth Day

After the Eighth Day war in Mexico, Jax, Riley, and Evangeline are in hiding from rogue Transitioners and evil Kin lords who seek to control the Eighth Day using Riley and Evangeline's powerful bloodlines. When Finn Ambrose, a stranger claiming to be Jax's uncle, takes Jax's friend Billy hostage, Jax travels to New York City to rescue him. There, Jax learns Finn is his uncle and that he belongs to the Dulacs, a dangerous clan after Riley and Evangeline. Despite the familial ties, the Dulacs will stop at nothing to achieve their goals, plunging Jax into a world of danger and deceit.
