The Mystery of the Screaming Clock

The book follows the adventures of Jupiter Jones, Pete Crenshaw, and Bob Andrews as they try to solve the mystery of a screaming clock. The clock, when wound, doesn't tick but screams. The boys must follow the clues to find out why the clock screams and who is behind it. An alarm clock sets off a blood-curdling scream, leading the three investigators to a mysterious old house in Hollywood filled with similar clocks. As they delve deeper, they find themselves embroiled in a dangerous trail of art thieves.
