The Panther Mystery

The Boxcar Children series features the Aldens, a family of siblings who find themselves on adventurous trips. In the Florida Everglades, they encounter two distinct mysteries. In one, they learn about a local legend involving a panther and a hidden treasure. As they engage with local residents, they uncover clues that bring them closer to the treasure, but they soon realize they are not alone in their quest. In another story, the children travel to the Everglades to find a missing park ranger named Andrew, who is an expert on the endangered Florida panther. Despite assistance from a Miccosukee girl from a nearby village, the clues are puzzling and don't seem to add up, leading the children to question whether Ranger Andrew wants to be found at all.
