With only three days left, they test their spooky tricks on David, who is determined to prevent another prank showdown on Halloween night. Meanwhile, Catalina Castaneda, a Mexican American girl, receives a magical sewing kit from her Tía Abuela, a famous telenovela actress. As Catalina discovers the sewing kit's magical properties, she must create the perfect disguise to catch a thief who stole from her aunt's famous costume, proving that the magic is only as effective as her sewing skills.
