Violet in Bloom: A Flower Power Book

Katie-Rose, Violet, Milla, and Yasaman are four fifth-grade girls with little in common except for their flower names. They are trying to grow their friendship while simultaneously building their own social-networking site, luvyabunches.com. Their initial project is to promote healthier snacks at school, but it quickly turns into a disaster when the Jelly-Yums they endorse are rejected by their peers. Amidst this, a classmate schemes to disrupt Katie-Rose and Yasaman's friendship, Violet confronts being targeted in a secret journal, and Milla accidentally causes the death of her hamster. Throughout a turbulent week, the strength and affection of their bond are tested as they navigate the ups and downs of fifth grade.
