Warrior Dog (Young Readers Edition)

Warrior Dog is the story of Cairo, a Belgian Malinois and military working dog, and his handler, Will Chesney, a member of SEAL Team Six. The book follows their journey starting in 2008 when Will was introduced to the canine program. Together, they participated in numerous critical operations in the war on terrorism, forming a deep bond that went beyond their military service. In 2011, they were part of Operation Neptune Spear, which resulted in the successful elimination of Osama bin Laden. After the mission, Will's life was heavily impacted by injuries from a grenade blast in 2013, and it was Cairo who saved Will's life once again. The book highlights their unbreakable connection, both during and after their service.
