Web of Lies

In this sequel to Carnegie Medal winner The Other Side of Truth, author Beverley Naidoo tells the story of Nigerian refugees Femi and Sade, who are living in London while waiting for their asylum claim. Femi gets involved with a criminal gang, which leads to dangerous consequences for the entire family. As Femi becomes more entangled with the gang, Sade struggles to protect her brother while their father is distracted by other concerns. The situation escalates when Femi is arrested for murder and their home is targeted by the gang, forcing the family to come together in a time of crisis.
