Where the Lost Ones Go is a middle grade contemporary fantasy by critically acclaimed author Akemi Dawn Bowman. It follows a twelve-year-old biracial Japanese American girl named Eliot, who is grieving the loss of her beloved grandma, Babung. Unhappy about moving to a new house that smells like lemons and deception, Eliot is desperate to find proof that ghosts exist, believing it could reconnect her with her grandma.
