Winston and the Marmalade Cat

Winston and the Marmalade Cat is the first book in a new series by Megan Rix, aimed at young readers aged 6-8. The story follows nine-year-old Harry, who works at a local animal rescue center and dreams of having a pet of his own. One day, Harry is tasked with delivering a special birthday present to Chartwell, the home of the famous Prime Minister Winston Churchill. During his visit, Harry learns about Winston's past and his beloved pets, and wonders if he will ever have the chance to meet Winston Churchill himself and have a pet of his own.
